Letter
, from the Secretary-General

"Plastalliance means refusing to suffer."

Joseph Tayefeh

"In a climate where plastic has become an easy scapegoat, many companies feel isolated, sometimes ashamed of their existence, even though they create value, jobs, and sustainable solutions. It's absurd.

Plastic is not the problem. It is a valuable material that can be recycled if we make the effort, is sometimes bio-based and compostable, lightweight, hygienic, and in many cases more environmentally friendly than its substitutes.
Someone had to say it. Better still, someone had to prove it. That's what we do every day at Plastalliance.

As Secretary General, I can tell you one thing: in another organization, I would have already been asked to keep quiet. So as not to offend anyone. So as not to upset a particular elected representative or NGO. So as not to lose a grant. But at Plastalliance, we have chosen to speak freely and take useful action, serving those who run factories, innovate, and invest.

Plastalliance is not just a talking shop. It is a collective of combative European companies that refuse to give in to resignation and compromise. They want to understand what is at stake at European level, because everything is decided at European level. They demand to be informed before it is too late. They are no longer content to simply accept absurd decisions without reacting.

We present your arguments everywhere: from Brussels to Paris or Bucharest, in the media and technical committees. And we present them clearly and courageously.

Joining Plastalliance isn't just about defending your company. It's about defending an industry with a bright future. An industry that some want to silence, but which, on the contrary, needs to speak up louder than ever.

So if you're tired of silence, if you reject constant self-flagellation or sterile communication, if you believe in responsible and circular plastics, you've come to the right place. Plastalliance is your voice. Make it your strength.
